Authentic Worship lifts us out of the me-first culture and silences the busy, on-demand life. Worship invites us into a sacred encounter, a spiritual awakening and filled with wonder and awe with God. In worship we see ourselves as we really are, not as we pretend to be or even intend to be. Worship is honesty and truth wrapped up in hope and inspiration. We begin to see life, and people, from God’s eternal perspective instead of being trapped in an earthly, time-bound point of view. It reveals what is true, pure and right, not always what is easy, safe, or convenient.  One hour of sincere worship, it is said, will change all other hours.
