Adult Ministry
Adult ministry seeks to provide opportunities for our members and for the community we serve to grow in faith, to find their place of mission, and to build community. Through engagement with Scripture, theological reflection, communal discernment, exploring our variety of gifts, spending time in prayer and meditation, and developing spiritual friendships, we seek to transform ourselves and our communities with the love of God made known to us in Jesus.
Sunday Morning Study Groups
We have a variety of Sunday morning study groups for adults, some defined by age or stage of life, while others are intergenerational communities exploring their faith together. Click here for a list of classes.

The Summit: Spiritual Formation
There is an older, deeper power in these mountains… and it is calling to me!
The Summit is a simple metaphor for our journey deep into the Kingdom of God. I chose this mountain climbing metaphor because it illustrates quite well how as you progress, your perspective will expand, your vision will become clearer and you will develop skills that make you resilient and courageous. You must leave the safety and security of basecamp and journey deep into the unknow with fellow travellers. Make no mistake, the journey will not be easy or without risk and you cannot get there on Sunday mornings alone. Yet the insights, wonders and majesty of life in the High Country is beyond description. God will always meet you where you are, just not where you pretend to be. Our mission is to not just believe in Jesus, but to believe like Jesus and do the things Jesus did, for the reasons Jesus did them.
Eternal God, You are calling me to a journey the end of which I cannot see, upon paths as yet untrod, deep into the heart of mountains that are higher and wilder than I know. Though doubts fill my mind, still my heart leaps at the thought of it. I long for this adventure because I know I was made for more. So here I am, take my hand, guide my steps and lead me into the wild unknown. Amen.
“No eye has ever seen or no ear has ever heard or no mind has ever thought of the wonderful things God has made ready for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9
“Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.” James 1:2-4
